 (Thread) The Ghanaian Music industry is in a dire state, and it breaks my heart. We keep holding onto the "One day e go bee" mentality while we're losing out on valuable opportunities. Basic systems and structures that should be readily available are nonexistent. It's true that we have some Ghanaians who have made it big globally, but they're not looking at the bigger picture. They're all moving solo. We need a collective effort to bring life back into the industry. It's disheartening that for an artist in Ghana to generate buzz, they have to resort to beef or negative news that won't translate into anything substantial over a long period. Look at our Nigerian brothers and sisters who run successful campaigns for their projects, which translates into global phenomena. We need to learn from them and take our music industry seriously.
